Baking for Sundays, Church Events and Community Organizations

Sunday mornings, Large Church Events, Tyler Redemption Place, Hope Landing and more. This is on a rotation basis

Blood Drive

Some training required - Facilitate the registration process and assist the Red Cross with anything needed. (No more than 6X a year)

Cards + Correspondence

Names and addresses provided throughout the year. Send cards to those who need encouragement

Care Team + Visitation

Some training required - Hospital visitation + Shut-ins

Childcare (Moms events where child care is needed)

Choir (Worship Choir)

Practice Wednesday 8pm when needed. This is not a requirement, but is helpful.

Church Grounds

Grounds + Landscaping

Clean up (outside/inside)

Coffee Center

Arrive early Sunday mornings/Some training required

Springfield Assembly packing takes place the 2nd Thursday of the month

Food Packing 11am/Second Thursday of each month

Food Distribution 3-4pm/Second Thursday of each month

Akron Food Bank (Pick-up/unloading/times may vary/truck or van required

Sunday morning emergency care - Medical certified is required
This is on a rotation basis

Kids Ministries

Some training required - Requires a background check
Teaching as well as assisting

Digital sign-in facilitator

Nursery/Toddler: Ages 0-3 years

Preschool: Ages 3-5years

KidsTHRIVE: Ages K-6th grade

Kids Greeter: 9:45am-10:15am (K-2nd grade)

Kids Greeter: 9:45-10:15am (3rd-6th grade)

Kids Events: Vacation Bible School, Water Days, Girls/Boys events

Teacher Assistant

King's Kitchen - 4th Tuesday monthly 4:30pm-6pm

There are multiple ways to serve. This meal takes place in our building in the Kids Thrive area by the kitchen.

Cooking/begin at 1pm

Baking/drop off at 3pm

Set up and misc at 3pm

Clean up and dishes at 4:30pm

Greeting and hospitality 4:30pm

Anywhere needed

Meals + Food Prep:

All meals are on a rotation and when able and called on

Funerals

New Moms

Shut ins + Elderly

Special Events

Community Events such as Tyler Redemption Place, Hope Landing in Akron and others

Online Greeting + Host:

Some training required - Greet those who watch online

Facebook Greeter / Must have a FB account

Outreach to Lakemore/Springfield

Please check any amount of interest. Many of these are whenever you are able and willing.

Lawn care for those who are shut in and unable (weeding, mowing, leaves, sticks)

Yard and trash pick up for those who are shut in and unable (cleaning and helps)

Possible other small projects for those who are shut in and unable (windows, hand rails, small projects)

Assist Lakemore with their food unpacking and packing (monthly basis)

Tyler Redemption Place serving food (few times a year)

Parking Team

When applicable for events or larger services

Prayer Chain

Pray for those needs who are on the email prayer chain

Special Needs - Kids + Youth

Assisting in Kids Ministries specific to special needs children + youth students
